We believe in creating spaces where families in the hospital can rest and regroup, away from the wards and medical appointments.
Much like our Houses, our Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms are there to support families through their child’s medical journey. Whether it’s a break from the clinical environment, a restorative space to pause, or a sense of normalcy sitting down with a cup of tea while the children are entertained.
Located on the ground floor of Perth Children’s Hospital, our Ronald McDonald House Family Room is a relaxing place for you and your whole family to spend time in, while visiting the hospital.. The facility is also home to Kulunga Moort Mia Aboriginal Family Lounge, a culturally sensitive space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families can can rest or make refreshments during their time at the hospital.
Take a break from your hospital appointments and join us as a family in our Ronald McDonald House Family Room Fun on Four, open 7 days a week, this space has something for the whole family and is perfect for those needing a change of pace in between appointments or stepping away from the wards.
We want to make sure families have a place to rest and regroup in the hospital, away from the clinical environment of the ward.
That’s why our spaces are purpose built for the use of parents, carers, guardians and their families with children undergoing inpatient or outpatient treatment at Perth Children’s Hospital.
