As a valued member of the team for over a decade, Gus takes his job very seriously.
When a child becomes ill or injured in Western Australia and needs specialist medical care, all roads led to Perth.
Many families find themselves far from home and loved ones for weeks, months and even years.
For over a decade, Gus has given these families so much more than hugs and pats, he is a sense of normalcy, a best friend and a shoulder to lean on during some of the most challenging times.
Tasked with welcoming families into the House, to posing for photos at events, Gus has his paws full, but he wouldn’t have it any other way!
