Home / What we do
We believe no family should have to deal with their child’s medical journey alone.
We help families access the medical care and resources they need when a child is ill or injured.
From family stays, that provide comfort and care far from home and loved ones, to places to visit inside the hospital that allow families to take time out from the wards and appointments through to educational support helping children learn following illness or injury and holiday escapes so families can recharge and reconnect.
By supporting families throughout their child’s medical journey, we allow them to focus on what truly matters; each other.
We believe that “home” is more than four walls and a roof over your head. That’s why our Ronald McDonald House at QEII, Ronald McDonald House on Park and Parent Accommodation at Perth Children’s Hospital are a haven for families with ill or injured children. They provide all the comforts of home, plus the compassion of staff, volunteers, and other families, all just steps away from medical care.
Our Ronald McDonald House Family Retreats in Busselton, Bunbury and Mandurah offer a welcomed sanctuary for families to reconnect, recharge and be together; an experience most of us take for granted
Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms offer comforting sanctuaries in Perth Children’s Hospital for families to rest and regroup away from wards during hospital visits.
When a child falls ill or injured, attending school is often not a possibility. Our Ronald McDonald House Learning Program aims to bridge the educational gap for school aged students who have missed out on their learning due to illness or injury.
