When a child requires critical care in the hospital, family stays. And we stay with them.
Our Parent Accommodation in Perth Children’s Hospital is located on level 5 and provides a place for parents and carers of critically ill or injured children with a safe comfortable place to stay on the ward.
Rooms here are allocated by Perth Children’s Hospital on a case by case basis and are prioritised for parents, guardians and carers of children in critical care.
Our 14-bedroom in-hospital accommodation is modern and comfortable, and has the closest access to the ward for parents, carers and guardians of critical patients.
We provide families staying here with tea and coffee facilities; computer and internet access; a quiet reading zone and TV area; as well as access to lockable storage units, a domestic kitchen and laundry facilities.
Please note: rooms here have limited access for siblings and additional support people. Eligible families with siblings can apply to stay at our much larger Ronald McDonald House at QEII or Ronald McDonald House on Park, located within walking distance from the hospital.

Comprised of 14 double-sized ensuite rooms, each room is equipped with a double-sized bed, private bathroom, and TV, providing a welcome respite for parents, carers or guardians.

Families staying in our Parent Accommodation in Perth Children’s Hospital have access to basic appliances in the domestic kitchen in the communal living area. We also provide pantry items as well as daily meals:
Families are provided with a dry storage locker, should they require it during their stay.
