Our first Ronald McDonald House in Western Australia opened in Subiaco, in 1990, this 18 room House provided families with a place to stay close to their child receiving medical treatment in Perth.
We grew our support in 1998, opening the country’s first Ronald McDonald House Family Room in Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth Western Australia, offering a comfortable space to rest within in the hospital.
In a state as vast as Western Australia, the need for our support and care continues to grow. To help support more families, we opened the 47 room Ronald McDonald House at QEII in 2015, and Ronald McDonald House on Park in 2024, a 50 room House, both just metres from Perth Children’s Hospital.
We are proud to celebrate over 30 years of providing essential services to thousands of West Australian families.
